Katy's super easy farm dinner/lunch/breakfast
1. Sauté cubed veggies in fat until browned (I used broccoli, eggplant, zucchini, and peppers in bacon fat rendered from Ft. Causeway this time--really whatever you have!)
2. Add cheese (I used cubed swiss from Diamond S️)
3. Let oil seep out of cheese until it forms a crust
4. Add egg over the top with 1 tsp water. Cover and baste about 1 minute (I used Janet Heron's farm egg). Picture above is ready for the lid to be basted...yummy.
Doesn't that sound great.  We had for supper night before last and oh so good.  Thank you Katy for sharing.  Now let's look at what we will be delivering the rest of the week of August 12th thru 18th!

We will be cutting a new round of Swiss this week.  (Thank you for your order Sandra...) That's how we do it at Diamond S Delights.  The one to place the first order for the week is the kind of cheese we will be delivering that week!  Of course only if it happens to be one we've got aged or can make fresh!  We also have some cottage cheese, Cheddar, Manchego, one ball of Mozzarella, and two small Halloumi.  There are two yummy Organic Strawberries and Cream smoothies left at the Bee that were delivered on Saturday.  Orders are continuing for Maple/Vanilla Kefir, chocolate milk, regular milk, creme fraiche and kefir cheese. Thank you all.  Please be sure to look for a name on the bottle.  If not spoken for it's your's!

Happenings at the ranch tonight!!  Our oldest grandson will be cooking for us tonight. (at least he's doing the grass finished prime rib) His parents and our granddaughter are on their way to State Fair.  They are bummed as our newest little grandson will be here with his parents tonight.  We're also having sourdough bread, kale salad, Orzo salad (all veggies and herbs from Craft Farm) we'll try to remember to snap a picture to share.

We are actively looking for a production manager and someone to help with the milking chores two or three days per week.  If interested get in touch with us.  Amelia will be going back to NZ end of September...Oh she will be missed.

Love to hear from you all.  text orders to 307-272-5334.

See you soon,
Kris for
