A family favorite is Halloumi a cheese many of you have tried. We have been calling it Grilling Cheese because it doesn't melt, so you can throw it on the grill with a steak or burger and then slice it up to share with everyone. Or cut in cubes and fry with potatoes and onions for a great side dish. We had an extra 3 gallons of milk this week so made a small batch of this yummy Grilling Cheese. We had 2 packages left that were unclaimed as of delivery on Thursday. So, if you're lucky, they might still be in our little Worland "store"! Sold in vacuum sealed bags with two round patties per package. Average weight is 10 to 12 oz per package, priced $9.75 each. Remember Dream Cheese ready for delivery 1st week of May. We will begin making quart bottles next week, $20 each quart. Approximately 2 of the little dream balls will provide you with your daily needs of probiotics. A great way to improve your gut microbiome. This is supporting your digestion naturally, with a natural gut support supplement in the form of a good for you food. Spread it on a cracker, or vegetable or piece of sourdough bread. Order today! If you don't recall what Dream Cheese is all about, watch the video in our Blog from March 12. Second week of May is Marinated Feta - Still have a few quarts not spoken for. Our Diamond S Delights Store will be live with the help of Barn2Door next week. We will offer Dairy Bundles as well as all our regular products individually ordered. If you order a dairy bundle of your choice $50 or more there will be no delivery charges to our two drop locations in TenSleep and Worland. Our prices are now being shown on our website without delivery fees. We are hoping this is simpler for all of us. Please text or call me if you have any concerns or questions, any time. Thank you all for your business! -Kris In other news...We want to wish our Grandson Brody, pictured below with one of our Dimond S cows during branding this year, a very happy 20th birthday tomorrow! And while Brody is celebrating his birthday away at school, our little Grandson Jack, pictured above with the chicken, has been visiting the Ranch and keeping us all on our toes!

Wow, it's only the middle of April but Spring is in full swing at Diamond S! Look at all the happenings below... First, let me introduce you to my new helper in the Diamond S Dairy, Linda Richardson. Linda and her husband, Barry, recently moved into the area to assist in many of the Ranch and Dairy operations and we are thrilled to have them! Linda has been busy with me in the dairy the last few days filling the orders to be delivered this week. Lots of Lemon and Plain Yogurt orders are ready for delivery tomorrow (Thursday) plus, milk, cream, butter. Kefir AND Maple Kefir will be bottled and ready early Thursday morning, too. NOTE: Orders for cheddar cheese will be filled on a first come, first serve basis so be sure to order yours ASAP! Speaking of orders, May subscriptions (monthly order) are due next week! Remember! We are making and delivering milk, cream, butter, plain yogurt, and kefirs every week. Then monthly orders delivered as scheduled below: 1st Week: Dream Cheese (see picture above for May's Dream Cheese) 2nd Week: Marinated Feta (last bottles for April go out tomorrow) 3rd Week: Lemon Yogurt 4th (and 5th, when applicable) Week: will be some fresh cheese. Your choice, see our Products Page for options! If you are interested in purchasing products or would like some to sample, Contact Us, we'd love to hear from you! Outside of the dairy, ranch operations are in full force! In addition to the Richardson's joining Diamond S, we also have welcomed Boone Smith and his dog, Fable, to our ranch crew. Boone recently relocated to Wyoming from Ohio to be around his sister and brother and their families. He has been busy dragging meadows, fencing, and helping with the calf pens along with whatever other jobs come along throughout the days. Fable is rather uninterested in the cows but enjoys chasing birds and riding tractors. Fable and Boone can be seen in the picture below with his sister, Claire, and her kids, Theo and Bonnie. Claire, Theo, and Bonnie make the weekly trip from Worland to Hyattville and back by way of Ten Sleep most weeks to deliver dairy products on Thursday's. Well, I believe we've covered the updates for now. I'm sure we'll be coming at you soon with more pictures and doings from Diamond S and the Dairy Delights!
Don't forget to place your orders for May, they're due by the beginning of next week! Blessings! -Diamond S |
