  Dear Friends of Diamond S, We are preparing to celebrate Christmas tomorrow. While this day is celebrated by many people in different ways and for many reasons, we try to keep our focus and remember that this is the day we choose to celebrate that our Lord and Savior came as a baby to spend time on earth. Because He was born as a baby in humble surroundings, He grew up and walked among us, and when the time came, He died for us so we may have eternal life. "This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins." 1 John 4:9, 10 (NIV) So, whether you gather as many or just a few, are filled with joy or sadness, or don't celebrate the birth of our Christ at all, we still want to wish you a day of peace, the feeling of unconditional love in your life, and prosperity in the new year.
