We’re rolling right into the end of May, and with everything blooming and bustling around the ranch, we just wanted to drop in with a few updates, a podcast recommendation, and an invitation to a local favorite event!

🥛 Don’t Forget Your Jars!
First things first — a friendly reminder to please return your milk jars and containers before your designated delivery day. This small act makes a big difference. Reusing jars helps us keep costs down and ensures we can keep the milk flowing smoothly (and sustainably!) to everyone. We appreciate your help in keeping our circular system running strong!

🎧 Food for Thought — Nourishing Liberty Podcast
We’ve been soaking up some wisdom lately from a fantastic episode of the Nourishing Liberty Podcast. The episode, called "The Importance of American Grasslands with Jim Gerrish," dives into the relationship between our health, the land, and the animals we raise. One quote that really stuck with us was:
“... if we don't have informed consumers, there's no point in us as producers trying to do the right thing…”
It’s a powerful reminder that your choices at the grocery store — or better yet, from your local ranch — really do matter. Jim Gerrish is a wealth of knowledge and this episode is packed with insights about how our ecosystems and food systems are deeply connected. Give it a listen — we think you’ll love it.

🎉 Come Join Us at the Cowboy Carnival!
One of our favorite local events is right around the corner — the Cowboy Carnival! This Sunday, May 25th, the Hyattville Community Center will be buzzing with activity. There’ll be:

• A BB gun shoot
• A beautiful quilt show
• Live music
• A sheep herding competition
• And of course, a delicious BBQ lunch!

We’ll even be giving away small gifts to folks who bring a pie or dessert to share after lunch! It’s a sweet way to celebrate our community and enjoy some old-fashioned fun. We hope to see you there!
